Fun Day
Started in 1998 at the Launch of our major project to make the church building fit for use and to make it a real centre for the whole community, the Fun Day has now had a wonderful 14 years of giving joy to the town and local community.
We have been blessed with extraordinarily good weather over those years and in 2010 we saw the incorporation of the Carnival into the day, making it even bigger, with an estimated 6,000 people visiting throughout the day.
In 2012 our 15th Fun Day is planned to take place on the first Saturday in June (2nd), and it is hoped it will be the biggest yet.
